Circus fun for everyone at Zip Zap’s first Family Fun Day

Zip Zap Circus School is hosting its first ever Family Fun Day on Sunday, 17 April 2016. Save the date for a superb day out for all; including brothers, sisters, mum, dad, grandparents, cousins and friends. Everyone is welcome to join the Zip Zap family at this jam packed day of fun! It promises to become an annual highlight for everyone who dreams of the circus and all the magic that it holds.

Zip Zap presents a new show, Emaceleni Sideways

Save the date for Zip Zap Circus School’s latest show, Emaceleni Sideways. For two days only, on Friday, 11 March 2016 and Saturday, 12 March 2016, Zip Zap’s instructors who are part of the Dare to Dream programme, will showcase their incredible talent. The show is presented by Zip Zap, a Non-Profit Organisation, in partnership with the National Arts Council.

Young South Africans are making a name for themselves on international circus stages, thanks to the high standards set by Cape Town’s very own Zip Zap Circus School. The not for profit organisation focusses on training circus skills – at no cost – to youngsters from all walks of life, some of whom are now ranked along with the best circus professionals in the world, performing on top stages to capacity crowds.

Gala fundraiser sheds light on children with autism

One hundred and ten compassionate Capetonians attended the annual SNAP Autism Ball gala fundraiser this past weekend at the Vineyard Hotel in Newlands to support and raise awareness for children diagnosed with autism. Four talented performers from Zip Zap wowed the crowd with incredible acrobatics and comedy which resonated with this year’s theme, ‘extra-ordinary’, emphasising that children with autism can become quite extra-ordinary with the right intervention.
