Since 2003, Zip Zap has offered safe accommodation for Zip Zap participants who are faced with unsafe or challenging family and living situations. The accommodation is shared by participants and interns, as well as guest teachers from abroad, to encourage acceptance of different cultures and learning to live harmoniously with others, as well as to prepare youths for independent living. OBS provides a stepping stone to help participants get back on their feet, and when they are ready to leave the safety of OBS, they do so with independent living skills and resources, the ability to plan for the future and clear goals to work towards. The accommodation of numerous young people requires an abundance of supplies. OBS can always accommodate donations of:
A fridge
Kitchen Stools
Dining Table
Toiletries
Pillows
