World AIDS Day (WAD), in partnership with Médecins sans Frontières and other local NGO present a free show in World AIDS day with youth living with HIV and youth from other Zip Zap projects, for the broader community. The message is one of acceptance, resilience and hope.
Zip Zap created the WAD programme in 2005 in partnership with Médecins sans Frontières and Cirque du Soleil in Canada to offer an alternative patient support programme to young people living with HIV receiving antiretroviral treatment. Today these youth are fully integrated in Zip Zap Youth programmes and proudly present a yearly show with a message of acceptance, resilience and hope to the broader community.
